A Public Adjuster is an adjuster that works for you. They do not work for the insurance companies. They are hired by you to assist in the preparation, presentation and settlement of your claim. They protect your interests in the claim adjustment process.
The majority of people are unaware that they have the right to hire their own adjuster. Insurance companies would prefer that you never learned we existed because without our involvement they can save money by misleading you or just wearing you out by continuously saying “no” until you give up and go away.
It is our job not to give up or go away but to keep fighting for you to get paid what you are owed. The Goodroad Group, Inc. is your claim advocate. We are a public adjusting company licensed by the California Department of Insurance. We have experienced public adjusters that have worked in the insurance industry for many years. Most of us have worked for insurance companies as adjusters, supervisors and managers.
